Since yesterday, I have been thinking about what to write on
my blog before I leave for a vacation on Saturday. This morning, while I was
checking my FB and reading news online, I can’t seem to move on about photos of
the victims on the recent typhoon Washi (or bagyong Sendong) that hit Cagayan
De Oro and Iligan City. One more time, our faith and strength were tested. I
wonder if there’s an end to this. I know the answer; I just can’t help
asking why it’s been happening. We may say it’s the nature’s wrath against our own
negligence.
My heart is weeping seeing parents who lost their children,
children who lost their parent, and families who lost their homes and
properties they’ve worked hard for. It scares me to think as a mother should it
will ever happen to me and to my family.
